SBR (styrene butadiene rubber) was one of the first industrialization synthetic rubber. Germany in 1933 using acetylene first synthetic route developed high-temperature emulsion styrene butadiene rubber, and industrial production began in 1937. In the early 1950s, there have been high-performance low-temperature (5-8 ℃) styrene-butadiene rubber. At present, styrene butadiene rubber (including latex) production is for about 55% of the production of synthetic rubber, also the largest types of plastic in production and consumption; low temperature poly-styrene-butadiene rubber milk as a whole accounted for about 80% of styrene-butadiene rubber production
SBR is mainly used in tire industry, the other products including auto parts, industrial products, electric wires and cables foreskin, hose, belt, shoes, toys and exercise devices. |
